Aya Kishimoto

Aya Kishimoto (b. 1989) is a photographer born in Osaka, Japan and based in both Mainz, Germany and Tokyo. She graduated from the Faculty of Foreign Studies at ​Sophia University and studied documentary photography at Nippon Photography Institute in Tokyo. After graduating, she worked in the photography department of a newspaper-affiliated publishing company and relocated to New York in 2021. In 2024, she started her career in Germany. She creates works centred on photography and interviews, focusing on themes of gender and identity, with families and immigrants as subjects. Photography exhibitions include Nikon Salon juna21 “That Land” (2015, Shinjuku and Osaka), Wander Photography Art Space “That Land” (2016, Taipei), the KG+ SELECT Finalists Exhibition (2026, Kyoto), and Festival OFF Arles “Behind Motherhood” (2026, Arles).


岸本 絢

1989年大阪生まれ、ドイツ、マインツと東京の二拠点で活動する。上智大学在学中にブラジルへ留学し写真を始める。卒業後、日本写真芸術専門学校フォトフィールドワークゼミに所属し、NPI卒業作品展アワード優秀賞受賞。2015年より朝日新聞出版写真部に勤務。2018年よりフリーランスとして活動を開始し、2021年にニューヨークに拠点を移す。2024年にドイツへ移住。ジェンダーや移民、文化的アイデンティティをテーマに、インタビューとフィールドワークを基に写真の作品制作を行う。写真展に、Nikon Salon juna21「彼の地」(2015年、新宿・大阪)、Wander Photography Art Space「彼地」(2016年、台北) 、 KG+ SELECT Finalist Exhibiton (2026年、京都)、Festival OFF Arles「Behind Motherhood」(2026年、アルル)など。
